Double Fatality in Pennsylvania Accident
A tragic single-car accident in Cumberland County, PA last week left two young adults dead and two others seriously injured when the car in which they were traveling struck a tree.  The driver and the front-seat passenger both died at the scene of the accident.  The two backseat passengers both sustained moderate injuries.  The Pennsylvania State Police said the vehicle was driving too fast to negotiate the curve.  The accident occurred at 6am in the 700 block of West Pine Street.

Ambulance/SUV Collision in VA Results in Death of Patient
According to WAVY, an accident in Hampton, Virginia, Saturday night between an ambulance and a Chevrolet Suburban left the patient that was being transported to the hospital dead and seven more people injured. The accident, at the intersection of West Mercury Boulevard and North Armistead Avenue, occurred when the driver of the Suburban failed to stop for the ambulance as it went through the intersection.  The Suburban broadsided the ambulance causing it to flip over.  Four medics in the ambulance and three occupants in the SUV were treated for injuries.

Teen Dies in FL Accident on I-95
A late Sunday night automobile crash in St. Lucie County, FL was fatal to one teenager and left two others with minor injuries and one other critical. A Ford Expedition carrying six people was traveling south on I-95 when the driver apparently lost control of his SUV causing it to veer into the highway’s median where it then rolled over several times. Two passengers were ejected from the SUV.  Two other cars unable to stop struck one of the passengers resulting in his death.  The Florida Highway Patrol said alcohol was not a factor.

CO Head-On Collision Kills Three
According to the Colorado State Patrol, a two-car, head-on collision on I-25 in Colorado near the Fountain exit, outside Colorado Springs, killed three people.  The driver of a Toyota SUV was heading northbound in the southbound lanes early Sunday morning when he crashed into an Acura SUV.  The police had previously received a call from a wrong-way driver and were searching for the vehicle at the time of the accident.  Both drivers and passengers of the Acura died at the scene of the accident. Police are continuing to investigate the accident.
