Caroline’s father, the late Robert W. Munley, instilled her commitment to fighting for justice for all and inspired Caroline to become a lawyer. She is the chair of the Board of Trustees for the Everhart Museum in Scranton, Pennsylvania, and is an active board member for the Women’s Resource Center of Northeastern Pennsylvania. She also frequently contributes to the Scranton Times-Tribune on community safety issues. Caroline and her husband, Edward Mullin, are proud parents of two daughters.

$3.8 million settlement reached for victim of tractor-trailer crash
Man struck by two separate tractor trailers causing permanent injuries
On Friday, October 24, a $3.8 million settlement was reached weeks before it was scheduled to be tried in a Lackawanna County court. Kyle Kelly filed suit against two trucking companies and their drivers following a crash that occurred in July of 2010, in the southbound lanes of Interstate 380 near the Pocono Pines exit. Kelly alleged that both drivers and their companies were negligent.
Kelly, then 23, was traveling home from work on Interstate 380 southbound at around 3:30 a.m. when his vehicle was struck by a tractor-trailer owned by Proud 2 Haul and operated by Isabel Lopez. PA Car Accident Attorney Says Expected Increase in Fourth of July Car Travel Raises Need to Keep Safety in Mind
Scranton, PA, June 29, 2012 — Pennsylvania car accident lawyer Caroline Munley today urged the state’s residents to keep safety in mind as decreasing gas prices fuel an expected upsurge in drivers on the road this July 4th holiday.
“As more people hit the road to celebrate Independence Day and for early summer vacations, the increase in traffic congestion raises the need to be mindful of safe driving practices,” said Munley, managing partner of the Pennsylvania personal injury firm of Munley Law in Scranton.
“We urge travelers to refrain from fatigued driving, drinking and driving and distracted driving, such as using cell phones for talking or texting while driving, which are all major causes of car accidents,” she said.
