Litigation Paralegal

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Litigation Paralegal to join our legal team. In this role, you will provide essential support to our attorneys in all phases of the litigation process. The ideal candidate has the ability to independently perform a variety of complex paralegal duties with limited supervision. They must possess a solid understanding of legal and medical terminology and have strong organization and oral/written communication skills.

Other skills include:

  • 3-5+ years experience as a Paralegal
  • Previous experience with Personal Injury matters, preferred
  • Trial preparation experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Executive Assistant

The Executive Assistant will provide high-level administrative support to senior leadership staff. The executive assistant will provide high-level administrative support and assistance to assigned leadership staff. They will perform clerical and administrative tasks including drafting letters, memos, agendas, reports, and other documents for senior staff. Other duties include:

  • Arranges travel and accommodations.
  • Schedules and attends meetings on behalf of the assigned leadership staff, taking notes and recording minutes.
  • Receives incoming communication or memos, reviews contents, determines importance, and summarizes and/or distributes contents to appropriate staff. Maintains an organized electronic filing system.
  • Performs office tasks including maintaining records, ordering supplies, and adhering to office procedures and protocol.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
  • Extensive knowledge of office administration, clerical procedures, and recordkeeping systems.
  • Able to type a minimum of 50 words per minute.
  • Extremely proficient with Microsoft Office Suite with the ability to learn new or updated software.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
  • At least four years of related experience required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Intake Paralegal

Our Intake Paralegals are the first point of contact for potential personal injury clients. They will speak directly to the injury victim and/or their family to assess whether our attorneys can assist them with their case. Responsibilities include:

  • Answering potential client calls and online inquiries
  • Entering pertinent data into CRM software
  • Scheduling appointments
  • Document management
  • Collaborating with office staff including attorneys, paralegals and support staff
  • Performing additional administrative duties as required

Requirements:

  • The ideal candidate has experience working in a fast-paced law firm (preferably Personal Injury)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office/Outlook and excellent typing skills
  • Must be organized, professional and attentive to detail
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and effectively manage priorities

Accounting Clerk

This is a full-time role that provides support to the firm’s accounting team. The primary responsibility of this position is to support the Accounting department by maintaining accounting records, handling accounts payable transactions, performing journal entries, and providing general accounting record transactions as needed. The ideal candidate will be highly organized and detail oriented with the ability to perform a variety of accounting and bookkeeping tasks to support the Accounting team.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma with 1-2 years of previous bookkeeping experience
  • Knowledge of Quickbooks
