CARBON COUNTY – Truck Driver Dies in I-80 Collision
CARBON COUNTY, PA (May 18, 2025) – A man had died in a single-vehicle accident while driving a tractor-trailer in Carbon County on May 16.
According to news report, the 23-year-old truck driver was driving on I-80 east in Kidder Township when he struck multiple tree in the center median around 8 a.m.
The Carbon County Coroner pronounced him dead on the scene. No word on what caused the truck accident.

LACKAWANNA COUNTY – Woman Dies After I-84 Car Crash
LACKAWANNA COUNTY, PA (May 17, 2025) – A woman had died from her injuries after a crash on I-84 on May 15.
According to news reports, the crash occurred on the left side of I-84 westbound when the road curved. The woman continued straight instead of taking the curve, leaving the roadway to the south of I-84. The car hit several signs until it rolled to a stop south of I-84 near mile marker 6.
Police say the woman was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident. She was ejected from the car and pronounced dead when crews arrived at the scene.
No one else was in the car. There is no word on the cause of the crash.

BERKS COUNTY, PA – One Dead, 2 Injured by Car Crash
ALSACE TOWNSHIP, PA – One person is dead and two people are in the hospital after a multi-car crash in Berks County.
The crash occurred around 6 p.m. near Skyline Drive and Bingaman Road.
The coroner’s office reported that one person involved in the crash was pronounced dead at 7:30 p.m. Two passengers in the vehicle were sent to the hospital. Their status is unknown.
Pennsylvania State Police continue to investigate the cause of the crash.

WASHINGTON COUNTY — Tractor-Trailer Head-on Crash on 1-70 Kills Woman & 4-Year-Old, Hits House
WASHINGTON COUNTY, PA (May 15, 2025) — A woman and her 4-year-old son died in a crash with a tractor-trailer on Sunday, May 11.
The crash occurred around 1 p.m. near the Claysville exit on Interstate 70. The car was headed west when it crossed the median into the eastbound lanes, striking a tractor-trailer head-on.
The impact of the crash launched the tractor-trailer up an embankment and into the back of a home located along the side of the highway.
The child was not in a car seat. The mother and the driver, who is the child’s father, were both not wearing seatbelts.
The woman was declared dead at the scene. The child was taken via helicopter to UPMC Washington Hospital. He was shortly declared dead after arrival. The driver was flown to another hospital in Pittsburgh for unspecified injuries. No information is currently known on the status of the driver. […]

LEBANON COUNTY — Tractor-Trailer Crashes on I-81
LEBANON COUNTY, PA (May 14, 2025) — A crash involving a tractor-trailer and cars occurred on Interstate 81 in Lebanon County on Wednesday, May 14.
Crews were dispatched at 8:11 a.m. The accident occurred on I-81 southbound near Exit 85 to Annville/FT Indiantown Gap.
A tractor-trailer veered off the roadway, causing delays.
