What are Specific Loss Benefits?
Specific loss benefits are workers’ compensation payments made for the permanent loss of use of a body part, such as a limb, hand, or eye, or for permanent disfigurement, regardless of whether the injured worker can still perform their job. These benefits are paid according to a schedule set by state law.
