Raised by educators, Mackenzie E. Wilson developed a passion for reading early in life and quickly grasped the transformative power of education. While she had always aspired to go into law, it was more of a dream than a concrete plan. That changed when one of her professors at the University of Scranton encouraged Mackenzie to apply to law school. She started interning at Munley Law Firm as a college senior before obtaining her J.D. from Villanova University. At Villanova, Mackenzie provided pro bono legal representation for farmers through the Villanova Farmworker Legal Aid Clinic
As one of Munley’s newer attorneys, Mackenzie savors the daily satisfaction of working closely with clients and helping them through a daunting system. Just listening and reassuring people goes a long way toward helping them feel like someone is in their corner. She also conducts research and writes in support of her fellow attorneys’ cases/
In her time away from the office, Mackenzie volunteers with Lackawanna Pro Bono to provide legal representation to residents of Lackawanna County and helps young students hone their speaking skills as a coordinator for the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s High School Mock Trial Competition. Still an avid reader, Mackenzie is a Board of Trustees of the Pocono Mountain Public Library member. She lives in the Poconos.
