Pennsylvania Accident Leaves Actor Dead

A single car crash around 3am on Monday morning at the intersection of Route 322 and New Street in West Goshen Township, Pennsylvania, claimed the lives of actor Ryan Dunn and his passenger. Both of them died of injuries sustained in the accident.  While an investigation is ongoing, police indicated that Dunn was most likely speeding in his 2007 Porsche 911 GT3. The car, which was engulfed in flames after running off the road and ending up in the woods, was destroyed.

Drunk Driver in NC Leaves Two Motorcyclists Dead

A pickup driver charged with driving while impaired crossed the center line when traveling north on N.C. Highway 82 early Sunday morning, and struck a southbound motorcycle carrying a driver and passenger leaving both of them dead at the scene. The passenger of the motorcycle was a volunteer with Dunn Emergency Services.  The pickup driver was also charged with two counts of felony death by motor vehicle, driving left of center and careless and reckless driving. He was being held in the Harnett County jail Sunday under a $100,000 bond.

I-85 Accident Leaves One Dead, Four Injured in South Carolina

A Texas woman was charged Monday with driving her pickup truck too fast for conditions after crashing into the back of a car that was slowing due to a flat tire on I-85 outside Spartanburg, SC.  The pickup hit the car, carrying five people, from behind sending it into the concrete median causing the car to catch fire.  One woman in the car was pronounced dead at the scene, and the other four occupants were taken to the hospital with unspecified injuries.

RV Tire Blowout Causes Fatal Accident

Police continue to investigate a Monday evening accident on I-75 near Wesley Chapel, Florida that left one man dead and three others injured after an RV suffered a tire blowout and veered into another lane.  The RV forced a Jeep off the interstate where it hit two trees and overturned.  A passenger in the Jeep died at the scene.  Two others in the jeep suffered serious injuries and one other had minor injuries.  None of the seven occupants of the RV were injured.
