Truck accident lawyer Marion Munley was able to obtain a $3.1 million verdict for our client, who was rear-ended by a tractor trailer in a one-lane construction zone.
The injury victim was driving through the construction zone when he was hit from behind twice by a tractor trailer. The tractor trailer had claimed to have lost sight of our client’s car when it was in his blind spot. The truck had hit the plaintiff’s car at 20 miles per hour.
As a result, our client suffered serious and permanent injuries, including head and back trauma and a cerebrospinal fluid leak, blurred vision, headache, and other debilitating symptoms. Our client was forced to undergo indefinite medical treatment as a result of the accident, which interfered with his ability to work and his quality of life.
The truck driver said he was looking back to ensure the flatbed he was driving wasn’t hitting anything in the construction zone. However, evidence showed that the driver was not pulling a flatbed trailer on the day.
