Here are some of our favorite parks that you must take pleasure in visiting:
Resica Falls Scout Reservation
1200 Resica Falls Road
East Stroudsburg
Located in East Stroudsburg, Resica Falls Scout Reservation is operated by the Cradle of Liberty Council of the Boy Scouts. No swimming or pets are allowed here; the well-maintained and preserved park affords a pristine experience for its visitors. Resica Falls takes just about an hour to hike; we love this park for its falls, tranquility, and care.
Yetter Park
198 Wilson Ave.
East Stroudsburg
Yetter Park offers hiking and biking trails with river views of Brodhead Creek throughout. Pets are permitted, as is fishing, and an 18-hole course is available for disc golf enthusiasts. We love the breakfast sandwiched at the M & S Country store, steps away from the park – well deserved after a long hike.
River’s Edge Family Bike Park
123 River Road
East Stroudsburg
Considered to be in Minisink Hills, this park has a pump track so that riders can use the momentum of their cycling to get past dirt shelves and bumps.
Echo Lake Park
5206 Milford Road
East Stroudsburg
Echo Lake is a great park for family picnics, as it hosts picnic tables, a pavilion, and a BBQ grill. There are also soccer and volleyball fields, a playground, a 9-hole golf course, and hiking trails. At Munley Law, we find this park ideal for families and family events – there really is something for everyone!
Zacharias Pond Park
99 East 3rd St.
East Stroudsburg
This serene park is highlighted by its pond which is stocked with many fish, activity fields, and walking trails. Parking is available, and a pavilion with grills is an excellent space for families to spend the day with a park that offers a tranquil feel.
Dansbury Park
15 Day Street
East Stroudsburg
A popular destination amongst locals, this park has it all: playgrounds, pools, tennis courts, basketball courts, sports fields, a skatepark, and Dansbury Park Pools with water slides and a separate lap pool. The Levee Loop Trail is accessible via Brodhead Creek here…it is an excellent summer recreational mountain paradise. Pavilions for picnicking are available for visitors to capitalize on spending the entire day here.
