Eleven-Year-Old Killed In N.Y. Car Crash
An afternoon three-car-accident in Wellsville, N.Y. has left an eleven-year-old girl dead from her injuries. According to the police report, about 3 p.m. traffic on Route 417 had stopped for a school bus when a truck ran into the back of the van in which the young girl was riding in the back seat. She was rushed to the hospital where she later died. The driver of the truck has been charged with driving while being impaired by drugs.
Heisman Trophy Finalist Stable After Car Accident In Hawaii
Colt Brennan is now in stable condition after suffering head and back injuries in a car accident in Hawaii, reports Fox Sports. He was a passenger in a car which crossed the center line and hit another car head-on. Two people from the second car were airlifted to a hospital. Brennan set an NCAA record for the most career touchdown passes thrown while at the University of Hawaii from 2004-2007 and led the team to a berth in the Sugar Bowl in his senior year.
Car Splits In Half In Skokie Car Crash
NBC Chicago reports four people were sent to the hospital following a severe crash last weekend. The car with three passengers was split in half behind the front seat and the second car with one passenger inside was found about 100 feet away. It’s hard to believe no one was killed in the crash.
Roll Over Accident Kills 5-Year-Old Not Wearing Seat Belt
A single car auto accident in Pasco County, Florida has killed one 5-year-old and seriously injured the driver and two other children, reports ABC Action News. The 25-year-old was driving a 1995 Ford Explorer about 6:30 p.m. when a tire blew out, causing her to loose control of her car. The driver was wearing a seatbelt.
Airbag Saves Man From Choking To Death
A man from Falmouth, Massachusetts was choking on a raisin while driving his car and lost consciousness and control of his car, reports CNN. His car then went head on into oncoming traffic causing a three-car accident. The deployment of his car’s airbag during the accident dislodged the raisin and revived him to consciousness. The driver suffered minor abrasion on his wrist and a woman in another car is suffering from back injuries.
