The driver of a Volkswagen Jetta ran a red light and ran into a Mercedes at the intersection of Falling Springs Boulevard and McCowans Ferry Road around 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, according to Lex18.com. One person in the Mercedes was killed and another in that car was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. The driver of the Volkswagen was taken to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
Traffic Snarled Following Three Car Accident in Michigan
U.S. 23 north of Lee Road in Green Oak Township was the scene of a three car accident around 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Traffic was slowed on both sides of the freeway and one person in the accident was taken to the hospital. Michigan State Police are still investigating the accident in which one vehicle ended up on the southbound side of U.S. 23 and the two others ended up on the northbound side.
Nine-Car Crash In Westborough, MA
MetroWest Daily News reports an adult and a 4-year-old child have been taken to the hospital following a nine-car-crash in Westborough Tuesday morning. According to witnesses, a speeding 2002 Kia Rio crashed into eight cars about 10:00 a.m. as it was trying to weave between two lanes. Four of the cars hit were in the left-turn-only lane and four were stopped in the passing lane. The driver of the Kia was not injured.
Blown Tire Sends Woman To Hospital In Texas
A single car accident on I-35 in Waco sent one woman to the hospital on Tuesday morning. According to KWTX.COM, the woman was driving her Toyota Corolla northbound when the left front tire blew out, causing the driver to lose control of her vehicle and strike a highway abutment. The passenger in the car was taken to the hospital with minor injuries and the driver was not hurt.
Woman Critically Injured When Car Crashes At Locks In Seattle
Around 12:15 a.m. on Tuesday morning, a woman crashed her Honda Accord into the metal gates at the Ballard Locks in Seattle on 32nd Avenue Northwest near Northwest 54th Street. Police are investigating the accident where the woman was traveling south on 32nd Avenue Northwest. They don’t know why she drove the car into the gates. The woman, who is in her late teens or early twenties, is hospitalized with life-threatening injuries.
