Marion Munley Elected Vice Chair of Trucking Litigation Group
Marion Munley now holds two more leadership positions in the American Association for Justice. Munley’s peers elected her Chair-Elect of the AAJ Women Trial Lawyers Caucus and Vice-Chair of the AAJ Trucking Litigation Group at the AAJ annual meeting. The meeting took place in Los Angeles, CA, at the end of July.
The Trucking Litigation Group provides its members with tools and resources to successfully litigate trucking cases, and to remain abreast of important developments in trucking laws. Munley has been an advocate for victims of heavy trucking accidents for thirty years. She has held multiple leadership positions within the Trucking Litigation Group. Additionally, Munley frequently travels around the United States to educate other attorneys on the unique challenges associated with truck accident cases. In 2015, Munley Law Personal Injury Attorneys attorneys Marion and Daniel Munley reached the second-highest settlement in Pennsylvania, on behalf of one of their truck accident clients.
As Chair-Elect of the Women Trial Lawyers Caucus, Munley will also help to teach and promote leadership among women lawyers. The Women Trial Lawyers Caucus provides opportunities for women in the legal profession to support and learn from one another through networking events, CLE courses, awards, and leadership opportunities. Munley’s dedication to women’s leadership development in the law has been well-documented. Earlier this year she received the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s Lynette Norton Award, recognizing an outstanding female litigator devoted to mentoring other women lawyers.
