Bus Accidents in Monroe County
While less common than car crashes, bus accidents often result in more serious injuries due to the size of the vehicles involved and the lack of safety restraints for passengers.
When a bus accident occurs, determining liability can be complex as multiple parties may share responsibility. This could include the bus driver, the transportation company, maintenance contractors, other motorists, or even governmental entities responsible for road conditions. For victims, this means personal injury claims often require thorough investigation to identify all potentially liable parties.
The aftermath of a bus accident typically involves dealing with multiple insurance companies. Victims should document all injuries, gather witness information, and seek prompt medical attention to establish a clear connection between the accident and their injuries.
