Three Go To Hospital Following 4-Car Crash In California
Just before 3pm on Tuesday a Toyota Tacoma pickup truck rear-ended a van, went through a chain-link fence then down a 15-20 foot embankment onto the freeway. The Toyota then struck the post of a speed limit sign and continued across the northbound lane of highway 49 into the path of a 1968 Jeep, catapulting the Jeep which eventually stopped across both northbound lanes. The driver of the Jeep was flown to Sutter Roseville Medical Center with moderate injuries, reports The Union.com. The other drivers suffered minor injuries.
Montana Man Killed In One Car Rollover Accident Was Not Wearing a Seatbelt
A 34-year-old Great Falls man was killed Monday in a single car rollover accident near mile marker 6 on the Vaughn South Frontage Road, reports KFBB.com. The driver was ejected from his car when he lost control about 8:30 p.m. It is not known if alcohol played a part in the accident.
Two Men Waiting On Side Of Road For Help Hit By A Third Car
Two men were waiting for State Police after having a fender bender on I-747 north near the Corning Preserve in N.Y. when they were struck by a third motorist who was intoxicated, according to timesunion.com. The third car hit one of the vehicles which in turn hit the man who was standing next to the car waiting on the State Police. The man sitting in his vehicle waiting for help had to be extricated and was taken to Albany Medical Center Hospital with chest injuries. The man who was struck by the car suffered lacerations and minor injuries.
19-Year-Old Man Badly Injured In Motorcycle – Car Accident
A Trenton man was badly injured when he tried to pass a car on the left in Franklin Township Sunday afternoon reports nj.com. The 19-year-old driver of the car had put on her right-turn signal to indicate a turn onto Lower Landsdown Road. Instead, she made a left turn into the motorcycle. The young man was eventually flown to St. Luke’s Hospital in Bethlehem, PA. He was reported to be wearing a helmet.
Car Crashes Into Home In Georgia
A woman driving with a suspended license crashed her van into a house on Heritage Drive in Hampton, Georgia Tuesday morning according to cbsatlanta.com. The homeowner was upstairs in her home when she heard a loud noise, and when she came downstairs, she found the van had slammed into her home near the living room. The 38-year-old mother was taking her daughters, ages 6 and 9, to school when the incident happened. She was treated at the scene and taken to county jail for driving with a suspended license and for seat belt violations because her young daughters were not wearing their seatbelts.
