Michigan Teen In Critical Condition Following Accident
SouthBendTribune.com reports a 17-year-old Paw Paw female is in critical condition with life threatening injuries after losing control of her car and being ejected from the vehicle when she crossed the center line into oncoming traffic. The 44-year-old driver of the car that collided with the teen’s car suffered significantly minimized injuries due to the use of his seat belt.
Florida Woman Pinned In Car After Accident
A two-car accident around 7 p.m. Thursday shut down State Road 82 in Lehigh Acres, reports 2RSWFlorida. The accident left one woman pinned in a vehicle for over 30 minutes as firefighters used the Jaws of Life to free her. Eventually they had to use a tow truck to pull the two vehicles apart in order to free the woman. She was flown to Lee Memorial Hospital for treatment.
One Dead, One Critical, Following Michigan Crash
A 16-year-old is dead and an 81-year-old woman is in critical condition following a two-car collision around 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Big Rapids Township, reports ABC’s WZZM13.com. The two cars lost control and collided with each other on Northland Dr. near Arthur Rd. south of Big Rapids. An 82-year-old man is being treated for non-life threatening injuries.
Vehicle Hit By Freight Train In Pennsylvania
One person has been hospitalized after his vehicle was hit by a freight train in Harrisburg around 2:45 Thursday morning. The incident happened in the area of 13th and Paxton streets when the man drove onto the railroad tracks and his car was crushed between two trains going in the opposite directions. The first train traveling west hit the man’s car pushing it into the path of the second, eastbound train.
Infant Killed In Tragic California Accident
A traffic accident in East Oakland has taken the life of a one-year old in the 1100 block of 78th Avenue around 9 p.m. Wednesday night, reports KTVU.com. Police are investigating the incident in which the child supposedly got out of the house and was run over when a family member went out to move a car.
