One Dead After Car Crashes Into Chicago Church
NBC Chicago reports a 22-year-old is dead and two other people are injured following a two car crash around 3:00 a.m. on the 1900 block of West Washington Blvd on the city’s Near West Side Sunday morning. The 22-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene and two others were taken to the hospital in good condition.
Paul Smiths College Student Killed In Adirondacks Car Accident
A 19-year-old student lost control of his 2002 Saturn sedan on Route 86 in Ray Brook, N.Y. on Sunday morning and slid into the path of an oncoming 2010 Honda CRV driven by a 57-year-old male. The student was pronounced dead at the scene and the passenger of the Honda suffered multiple fractures, reports the Wall Street Journal.
Illinois Car Accident Sends Car Crashing Onto Expressway
An early morning accident involving two cars sent one car through a metal barrier and onto the Kennedy Expressway at Cumberland Avenue, reports the Chicago Sun-Times. The two people in the car that crashed onto the highway were not injured and the two people in the other car suffered minor injuries.
Four Children Survive SUV Accident In S.C.
Four children, ages 1 to 8-years-old, survived an accident in Colleton County, S.C. early Monday morning, reports WCSC TV in Charleston. None of the children were wearing seatbelts. The children were taken to Colleton County Hospital, but the driver was killed in the incident in which the SUV ran off the right side of the road, struck a ditch and overturned into several trees.
Norwich Courthouse Escapes Damage From Car Crash
A two-car accident at 3:55 p.m. at the corner of Water Street and Chelsea Harbor Drive in Norwich has left one person with minor injuries. An Isuzu Rodeo collided with a Dodge pick-up as both attempted to cross the intersection at the same time, knocking over a street sign and a lighted crosswalk sign. The vehicles came within inches of crashing into the Norwich Courthouse, reports The Bulletin.
