LANCASTER COUNTY — Two Vehicles Crash Into Home on Route 30
LANCASTER COUNTY, PA (July 2, 2025) — Two vehicles crashed into a home on Route 30 in East Lampeter Township early Tuesday morning while a homeowner was sleeping inside. One woman was hospitalized with minor injuries, and the home’s front porch sustained damage.
The crash occurred around 6:00 A.M. on Route 30/Lincoln Highway at Cherry Lane. According to fire personnel at the scene, one vehicle was traveling north on Cherry Lane and crossing over Route 30 when a second vehicle traveling eastbound on Route 30 “T-boned” the first vehicle. Both vehicles then struck the house.
The homeowner, who was asleep inside at the time of the crash, was not injured. One woman had to be cut out of the crashed vehicle and was transported to an area hospital with minor injuries.
Route 30 was temporarily closed between Eastbrook Road and Ronks Road but has since reopened. […]

ERIE, PA — Fatal Head-On Collision Kills Two, Seriously Injuries One in Pittsfield
ERIE COUNTY (July 2, 2025) —— A head-on collision killed two people and hospitalized one on Saturday, June 28 in Pittsfield Township.
State Police responded at 4:56 PM on State Route 27.
One car was driving through a right curve at a high rate of speed when he crossed into the westbound lane, hitting another vehicle head-on. The car that crossed became fully engulfed in flames. Both drivers were pronounced dead at the scene.
The passenger of the struck car was air lifted to Erie UPMC Hamot with serious injuries.
Police continue to investigate.

BERKS COUNTY – Fatal Car Crash Kills Man & Dog
BERKS COUNTY, PA (June 26, 2025) —— A man was killed in a collision on Saturday, June 28 in Womelsdorf Borough.
Investigators reported that he died on Conrad Weiser Parkway in Womelsdorf Borough. A family dog was also killed in the crash. The cause has not yet been reported.
Police continue to investigate.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY — 2 Killed in Car Racing Turnpike Crash
UPPER MORELAND TOWNSHIP, PA (June 30, 2025) —— Two people died after a car race ended in a crash in Montgomery County on Sunday, June 30.
Two cars were racing at high speeds when they lost control. Both cars crashed near the Pa. turnpike ramp to I-276. Pennsylvania State Troopers reported that the crash happened around 3:30 a.m.
The two individuals who died were the drivers. Two other people in a third vehicle sustained minor injuries after crashing into one of the crashed vehicles. They have been treated.

BERKS COUNTY – 3 Juveniles Critically Injured & Building Damaged in Route 61 Truck Accident
BERKS COUNTY, PA (June 27, 2025) —— A truck and car crash in Perry Township left three juveniles in critical condition and a building damaged on Wednesday, June 25.
The crash occurred on Route 61 (Pottsville Pike) and Zweizig Road just before 6 p.m. Pennsylvania State Police (PSP) responded.
A car was travelling north when it attempted to make a lefthand turn at the intersection with a green light, but failed to yield. A tractor trailer was travelling south. As the truck approached the intersection it had both a green light and the right of way.
The car was struck on its right side and traveled off the road, striking a fence. The tractor trailer also went off the road, striking three vehicles parked in a fenced lot. One of the parked vehicles was pushed inside a nearby building, causing significant damage.
Three juveniles in the car were transported to Reading Hospital in critical condition. […]
