DELAWARE COUNTY— Two Girls on Scooter Struck by Vehicle

DELAWARE COUNTY, PA  (June 16, 2025) — Two girls have sustained serious, life-threatening injuries after being struck by a vehicle in Aston Township while riding an electric scooter on Saturday, June 14.

The girls were struck around 2:18 p.m. near Lehr Boulevard and Concord Road in Aston.

First responders provided immediate aid, before they were transported to the hospital. Both of the girls are currently in critical condition.

The driver of the involved striking vehicle remained at the scene. No citations or criminal charges have been filed.

Police continue to investigate.

LACKAWANNA COUNTY, PA (June 9, 2025) — A 14-year-old boy was killed in a fatal ATV accident on June 6.

According to news reports, the boy was operating an ATV-type vehicle on private property along Stevens Road in Jefferson Township around 6 p.m. on June 6. The boy collided with terrain and was thrown from the ATV.

The crash was ruled accidental. Police are investigating the cause.

LANCASTER COUNTY (June 6, 2025) – A motorcyclist was injury after a crash in Lancaster County on June 3.

According to news reports, emergency crews responded to the wreck at the intersection of North Churchtown Road and Main Street/Route 23 in Caernarvon Township around 6:28 a.m.

The motorcyclist was taken to a local hospital to be treated with non-life-threatening injuries, Pennsylvania State Police said. There were no other vehicles involved in the accident.

Pennsylvania State Police are investigating the cause of the crash.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY – Three Teens Die After Police Chase

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, PA (June 5, 2025) — Three people died and another person was injured in a car crash following a police chase on June 3 in Limerick Township.

According to emergency officials, the accident occurred on Ridge Pike near Sunset Road around 9:15 p.m. Limerick Township Police say they were pursuing the car before the crash.

The District Attorney’s office said the police were responding to a “potential theft” at Target on Ridge Pike when the police chase began. When the police tried to stop the car, the driver and three passengers fled. A few minutes later, the driver lost control of the vehicle and crashed on Ridge Pike, flipping the car over multiple times.

Three 17-year-olds were pronounced dead at the scene. A 15-year-old was rushed to an area hospital in an unknown condition.

Police are investigating.

DAUPHIN COUNTY — Woman Dies After Crashing Into Flatbed Truck

DAUPHIN COUNTY, PA (May 29, 2025) — A woman has died after a crash on Interstate 81 in Dauphin County on May 28.

According to the Pennsylvania State Police, the wreck happened in the southbound lanes of I-81 near Exit 80 in East Hanover Township around 2:30 a.m.

The woman was driving an SUV when she lost control on the wet interstate and hit the back of a parked flatbed truck. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say the occupant of the truck was not injured.
