Truck Accidents in Lebanon County
When commercial trucks become involved in multi-vehicle scenarios, the consequences become even more severe. This extreme weight disparity means truck accidents often result in catastrophic injuries or fatalities, particularly for occupants of smaller vehicles. Pennsylvania’s position as a major logistics corridor means our highways see heavy commercial truck traffic, increasing the risk of these dangerous collisions.
Pennsylvania’s comparative negligence laws add another layer of difficulty, as compensation can be reduced by your percentage of fault in causing the accident. This makes thorough investigation and evidence preservation crucial in multi-vehicle cases.
Pennsylvania’s choice no-fault insurance system creates additional complications in multi-vehicle scenarios. While your personal injury protection (PIP) coverage provides initial medical benefits regardless of fault, severe injuries often exceed these limits.
Truck accidents often involve multiple potentially liable parties, including the truck driver, trucking company, cargo loaders, maintenance providers, and parts manufacturers.
When multiple insurance companies become involved, each representing different drivers in the chain-reaction crash, navigating the claims process becomes increasingly difficult without experienced legal representation.
