LACKAWANNA COUNTY — Dickson City Concilman Dies in Head-On Crash

LACKAWANNA COUNTY, PA (May 26, 2025) – A Dickson City councilman has died following a head-on car collision in South Abington Township on May 25.
According to news reports, emergency crews responded after two cars collided head-on along North State Street just after 8 p.m.
Police confirmed that the councilman had died in the wreck. The other driver was seriously injured and remains hospitalized. North State Street was shut down for about two hours as emergency crews investigated the crash; no word on how the accident occurred.
