Monroe County, PA – Foggy Weather Blamed For Fatal Car Crash
MONROE COUNTY, PA (March 16, 2025) – Two people had died following a motor vehicle crash in Monroe County on March 15.
According to news reports, The car was hit by an oncoming vehicle when it was making a left turn off State Route 115 South in Tunkhannock Twp. The two passengers had died in the accident. The driver of the vehicle was injured and rushed to the hospital.
Authorities noted that visibility at the time of the accident was poor due to fog.
Police are investigating the accident.

Schuylkill County, PA – Truck Driver Hit After Leaving Truck on I-81
SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA (March 12, 2025) – A truck driver who had gotten out of his vehicle on Interstate 81 was hit by another vehicle in Schuylkill County on Monday.
According to the Pennsylvania State Police, the man was driving a 1994 Freightliner south when he was rear-ended near the Mahanoy Township exit of I-81 around 6 a.m. on March 10.
The truck driver had gotten out of his vehicle and was standing in the middle of the southbound lanes when he was hit by another vehicle.
Both the truck driver and the driver of the vehicle that hit him were taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
Police are investigating the accident.

Lancaster County, PA – Vehicle Crashes into Horse and Buggy
LANCASTER COUNTY, PA (March 12, 2025) —— A driver collided with a horse-drawn buggy on Sunday, March 10.
According to local media, Northern Lancaster County Regional Police Department officers were dispatched to West Orange Street and Pfautz Avenue in Warwick Township around 6:45 p.m.
Police found a buggy flipped on its side, after being struck from behind by a 2012 Subaru WRX. The horse was not injured.
The driver of the Subaru was arrested for suspicion of DUI and taken into custody. He was reportedly speeding while under the influence of drugs or alcohol, according to a preliminary investigation conducted by local police. He sustained minor injuries that were treated on the scene.
The buggy was occupied by a man and a woman. Police transported the woman to the hospital for care. She was later discharged.

PHILADELPHIA, PA (March 11, 2025) —— A three-car crash on I-76 Westbound caused major traffic delays in Philadelphia.
A tractor trailer, a Mazda and a Chevrolet Cruise collided. Officials shared that the crash was likely caused by one of the drivers having a medical emergency.
The lane was blocked by the tractor trailer, contributing to the backup. Traffic has now cleared.
