Pike County, PA – One Person Dead After Car Crash on Route 6

PIKE COUNTY, PA (April 27, 2025) – One person has died following a car accident on Route 6 in Palmyra Township on April 26.

According to the Pike County Communications Center, emergency personnel were called to the intersection of US-6 and Kimbles Road just before 9:30 a.m. for a car accident. One vehicle was traveling westbound along Route 6 when it entered the eastbound lane and struck an oncoming car.

Pennsylvania State Police say the 78-year-old driver had died in the crash. The other driver was transported to a local hospital to be treated for unknown injuries.

Police are investigating the accident.
