ALLEGHENY COUNTY, PA (March 18, 2025) —— A minivan crashed into the roof of an antique club in White Oak on Friday, March 14.
The crash occurred around 5:45 a.m. in the area of Bridgeview Street.
The cause of the crash remains unknown, but the minivan driver reportedly told responders at the scene that he hit the gas instead of the brakes. The driver was reportedly a man in his 70s who lives in the neighborhood, according to neighbors who responded. He was conscious but broke his arm.
The home was severely damaged. The home serves as an antique and car club.

Monroe County, PA – Foggy Weather Blamed For Fatal Car Crash
MONROE COUNTY, PA (March 16, 2025) – Two people had died following a motor vehicle crash in Monroe County on March 15.
According to news reports, The car was hit by an oncoming vehicle when it was making a left turn off State Route 115 South in Tunkhannock Twp. The two passengers had died in the accident. The driver of the vehicle was injured and rushed to the hospital.
Authorities noted that visibility at the time of the accident was poor due to fog.

Schuylkill County, PA – Truck Driver Hit After Leaving Truck on I-81
SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA (March 12, 2025) – A truck driver who had gotten out of his vehicle on Interstate 81 was hit by another vehicle in Schuylkill County on Monday.
According to the Pennsylvania State Police, the man was driving a 1994 Freightliner south when he was rear-ended near the Mahanoy Township exit of I-81 around 6 a.m. on March 10.
The truck driver had gotten out of his vehicle and was standing in the middle of the southbound lanes when he was hit by another vehicle.
Both the truck driver and the driver of the vehicle that hit him were taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
Police are investigating the accident.
