Three Munley Law Personal Injury Attorneys Partners Named to Irish Legal 100
Munley Law Personal Injury Attorneys partners Christopher Munley and Daniel Munley join their father and firm founder Robert W. Munley as members of the 2016 Irish Legal 100.
The Irish Legal 100 is a list of the top 100 American lawyers of Irish descent, published each year by the Irish Voice newspaper. Recipients of this honor will attend a reception at the residence of the Irish Ambassador to the United States, Anne Anderson, in Washington, D.C.
A Legal Legacy with Irish Roots
This is Robert W. Munley’s second year in a row as an Irish Legal 100 honoree. He founded the Scranton-based firm Munley Law Personal Injury Attorneys in 1959. Throughout a distinguished 57-year career with an unwavering focus on plaintiffs’ rights, Munley has blazed new trails for Pennsylvania attorneys. Munley established precedents that define the practice of personal injury law today, and was also the first attorney in the state to develop a focus on cases involving personal injuries caused by commercial trucks.
His influence extends to his six children, all of whom are lawyers. Both Christopher and Daniel Munley each have 20+ years of experience in the legal profession.
Chris has consistently been named among the Best Lawyers in America by the legal guide Best Lawyers, and serves as the Vice Chairman, Lackawanna County Multi-Purpose Stadium Authority, and has served as President, Board of Directors, The Scranton Club.
Daniel has also been listed in Best Lawyers in America, and, along with Marion Munley, achieved the second-largest settlement in the state of Pennsylvania on behalf of one of his truck accident clients last year.
