Man Dies in Tractor Trailer Accident on I-81 in Franklin County
A 21-year-old man lost his life in a deadly tractor trailer accident on Interstate 81 in Franklin County on December 15. According to Pennsylvania State Police, emergency crews responded to the collision in the northbound lanes I-81 between Exit 5 and Exit 10 in Antrim Township at approximately 3:30 am.
Police say the man was driving a sedan when he crashed into the back of a tractor-trailer that had merged in front of him unexpectedly because another vehicle stopped on the shoulder. The man was thrown from his car and pronounced dead at the scene.
