BERKS COUNTY – Fatal Car Crash Kills Man & Dog
BERKS COUNTY, PA (June 26, 2025) —— A man was killed in a collision on Saturday, June 28 in Womelsdorf Borough.
Investigators reported that he died on Conrad Weiser Parkway in Womelsdorf Borough. A family dog was also killed in the crash. The cause has not yet been reported.
Police continue to investigate.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY — 2 Killed in Car Racing Turnpike Crash
UPPER MORELAND TOWNSHIP, PA (June 30, 2025) —— Two people died after a car race ended in a crash in Montgomery County on Sunday, June 30.
Two cars were racing at high speeds when they lost control. Both cars crashed near the Pa. turnpike ramp to I-276. Pennsylvania State Troopers reported that the crash happened around 3:30 a.m.
The two individuals who died were the drivers. Two other people in a third vehicle sustained minor injuries after crashing into one of the crashed vehicles. They have been treated.
Investigations continue.

BERKS COUNTY – 3 Juveniles Critically Injured & Building Damaged in Route 61 Truck Accident
BERKS COUNTY, PA (June 27, 2025) —— A truck and car crash in Perry Township left three juveniles in critical condition and a building damaged on Wednesday, June 25.
The crash occurred on Route 61 (Pottsville Pike) and Zweizig Road just before 6 p.m. Pennsylvania State Police (PSP) responded.
A car was travelling north when it attempted to make a lefthand turn at the intersection with a green light, but failed to yield. A tractor trailer was travelling south. As the truck approached the intersection it had both a green light and the right of way.
The car was struck on its right side and traveled off the road, striking a fence. The tractor trailer also went off the road, striking three vehicles parked in a fenced lot. One of the parked vehicles was pushed inside a nearby building, causing significant damage.
Three juveniles in the car were transported to Reading Hospital in critical condition. […]

BERKS COUNTY – One Dead After Car Crashes into Trailer on Route 222
BERKS COUNTY, PA (June 26, 2025) —— The driver of a car died in Ontelaunee Township on Thursday, June 26 after the vehicle crashed into a parked trailer along Route 222.
The crash occurred about 7:45 a.m. on the southbound side of the 5600 block of Allentown Pike. The incident happened before the ramp for the southbound Route 222 expressway.
Northern Berks Regional Police said the car left the southbound roadway for unknown reasons and went under the trailer that was parked off the road.
The driver was trapped in the wreckage. They died while emergency officials attempted to free them.
Police continue to investigate.

DELAWARE COUNTY – Multi-Car Crash on I-476 Southbound Injures Five
DELAWARE COUNTY, PA (June 24, 2025) — A crash occurred in Nether Providence Township on Sunday, June 22 between two cars and a pickup truck that was towing a large recreational trailer.
The crash happened in the southbound lanes of I-476 between Exit 3 and Exit 1 on the Blue Route.
Police were notified just before 6 p.m. One woman was removed from her car, and was hospitalized with serious injuries. Four other people suffered minor injuries.
It’s unclear what led to the accident. Police continue to investigate. All roads have reopened.
