Multi-Vehicle Crash Involving SEPTA Bus in King of Prussia, PA
Two passenger vehicles and a SEPTA bus were involved in a serious crash on January 8 in King of Prussia. According to news reports, the accident happened around 2 p.m. at South Henderson Road and Monroe Road intersection when a vehicle collided with the Route 99 SEPTA bus.
Injuries were reported in the crash, but the severity of the injuries is unknown at this time.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.

Pedestrian Hit By Car While Crossing I-80 in Luzerne County
A pedestrian was hit and killed by a car while crossing Interstate 80 in Butler Township, Luzerne County.
According to Pennsylvania State Police, troopers were called to a crash on I-80 around 10 p.m. on January 1. At the scene, the police reported a crash occurred prior to the pedestrian being struck. He had left his car and began walking across both lanes of traffic for unknown reasons. While walking across I-80, he was stuck by another vehicle.
The other driver was not injured. Police are investigating the accident.

Woman Ejected in I-78 Crash, Causing Another Accident With Tractor Trailer
A female driver was ejected from her vehicle after crashing into the median along Interstate 78 in Lower Macungie Township on January 5.
According to news reports, the accident occurred just before 12:15 a.m. at mile marker 54.1 in Lower Macungie. The woman was driving south along Route 309 and had attempted to merge onto I-78 east. She then struck the center median, causing her to be ejected from the car. The vehicle came to rest on the west side of the highway when a tractor-trailer driver struck the vehicle, causing a secondary crash.
The woman was taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest for treatment. The truck driver was not injured.

Man Hit By Plow While Leaving Doctor’s Appointment in Hempfield Twp., PA
A man had been hit by a plow truck after leaving a doctor’s appointment in Hempfield Township on January 6. According to news reports, a wintry mix had fallen throughout the area in the morning. Around 8 a.m., Pennsylvania State Police were called to the parking lot of an orthopedic office on Clark Ellis Road for reports of a man being hit by a plow truck.
According to police, the 74-year-old man was leaving the office when the backside of the plow truck hit him. Police believe he was not run over, but he was either pushed or dragged by the truck.
The victim suffered serious injuries and was taken to a local hospital before being transferred to Pittsburgh.
Police are investigating what caused the accident.

Man Killed, Wife Injured After Being Struck By a SEPTA Bus in Philadelphia
A man died, and his wife was injured after being struck by a SEPTA bus on the evening of January 3 in Philadelphia.
According to news reports, the accident occurred just before 7 p.m. at Front Street and Washington Avenue in the Queen Village neighborhood of Philadelphia. The couple attempted to cross Front Street in the crosswalk before being hit by the bus.
Police say the man was dragged underneath the bus. Officers removed him from under the bus and attempted to provide life-saving measures but were unsuccessful.
The wife was taken to Temple University Hospital and is listed in stable condition. It is unclear how many people were on the bus at the time of the crash or if anyone on the bus was injured.
