Marion Munley is a champion of the civil justice system and victims’ rights, particularly those injured in trucking crashes and by-products in the marketplace. Among her other professional affiliations are the American Board of Trial Advocates, the International Society of Barristers, and the Summit Council, an exclusive group of today’s top civil justice attorneys committed to the highest levels of trial advocacy to obtaining justice for individuals and families who have been hurt by corporate wrongdoing, and to the protection of the civil justice system.
Marion has received some of the highest honors a lawyer can receive during her career. Listed in The Best Lawyers in America® since 2012, Marion has been named the 2024 “Lawyer of the Year” for Product Liability Litigation – Plaintiffs in Northeastern Pennsylvania. Munley Law Personal Injury Attorneys Reaches $1.9 Million Truck Accident Settlement
Munley Law Personal Injury Attorneys recently announced a $1.9 million settlement in a case stemming from a tractor trailer accident in 2013. Attorneys Marion Munley, Bob Munley, and Caroline Munley represented plaintiffs Michael Holder, Jr. and Heather Williams whose father Michael Karl Holder was killed in the accident.
On April 10, 2013, at approximately 3:00 a.m., defendant Wilfredo Suarez was driving west on Interstate 80 when at least one tire on his trailer blew out. An electrical system malfunction, due to poor maintenance, caused all of the trailer’s lights to fail. Suarez turned the vehicle around and began traveling east on I-80 at a rate of 12-18 miles per hour, with flat tires and no lights, posing a serious risk to other drivers.

Marion Munley Wins Verdict Against Hospice Over AIDS Scare
A subcontracted nurse who had been treating a patient affiliated with Hospice St. John, has received compensation for emotional distress after being pricked with a needle that had been used on her patient. The nurse was unaware that her patient, who passed away shortly after the incident, had AIDS.
The jury found Hospice St. John partially responsible and awarded the nurse with a $150,000.00 verdict. Attorney Marion Munley, from the law form of Munley Law Personal Injury Attorneys, represented the nurse in the week long trial.
We are very pleased the jury held Hospice St. John accountable for the emotional duress suffered by our client. After the incident she lived in constant fear that she might contract AIDS. Fortunately she didn’t, but withholding that type of information is not acceptable,” stated Attorney Munley.
