Munley Law is pleased to announce that truck accident lawyer Marion Munley was sworn in as the Treasurer for the American Association for Justice (AAJ).
The American Association of Justice is a 20,000-member organization of plaintiff attorneys dedicated to protecting the rights of trial by jury. The mission of the AAJ is to promote justice and fairness for injured victims, safeguard victims’ rights, and strengthen the civil justice system through education and disclosure of information critical to public safety and health.
Marion has held several positions in the AAJ over the years. She was elected as the AAJ Parliamentarian in 2022 and has served on the Board of Governors and its Executive Committee. In 2018, she was the first woman to become the Chair of the AAJ Trucking Litigations Group and received the organization’s Robert W. Munley Champion of Justice Award in 2020. […]

Temple University Names Scholarship After Munley Law Founder Robert W. Munley

Munley Law Personal Injury Attorneys is proud to announce that Temple University Beasley School of Law has recently created a scholarship named for truck accident lawyer and Munley Law founder Robert W. Munley and his wife Bernadine Munley.
Robert W. Munley (1930-2019) graduated from the Beasley School of Law after serving in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. During his time at Temple, he was a member of the Temple Law Review. Bernadine Munley, as well as partners Marion Munley and Caroline Munley, also graduated from Temple.
The scholarship fund will benefit students in the trial advocacy program with a preference for those students who come from Lackawanna County or are members of the Women’s Law Caucus.

Munley Law Sponsors the Everhart Museum’s Founder’s Gallery

Munley Law Personal Injury Attorneys is proud to announce that it has sponsored the Everhart Museum’s newest ongoing exhibition in memory of its founder, truck accident lawyer Robert W. Munley.
The “Founder’s Gallery” showcases the life of the Everhart Museum’s founder, Dr. Isaiah F. Everhart, an American physician and naturalist. The gallery traces Dr. Everhart’s life from growing up in Southeastern Pennsylvania, through his career as a surgeon, to settling in Scranton and establishing the museum. The exhibit features his journal entries, objects from the museum’s collection, and photographs from the museum’s archives.
A reception for the new exhibition was held on May 19 in conjunction with the Everhart Museum’s 115th anniversary.
